Before acquiring a company or a stake in Greece, investors need a reliable picture of its financial position. A financial due diligence provides an independent analysis of the target’s historical figures and highlights the factors that are relevant to valuation, negotiation and the purchase agreement.
Scope
Depending on the transaction, our analysis typically covers:
- quality and sustainability of earnings
- net assets, net debt and working capital
- trade receivables, ageing analysis and collectability
- cash flows and financing
- off-balance-sheet obligations, contingent liabilities and other financial risks
- plausibility of budgets and business plans
We agree the scope with you in advance and report our findings clearly in English, German or Greek.
For buyers and sellers
A buy-side due diligence supports your investment decision and your negotiations. A vendor due diligence helps sellers prepare a transaction and present reliable financial information to potential buyers.
Where required, we combine the financial due diligence with a tax due diligence. Our experience in statutory audits under Greek GAAP, IFRS and HGB forms the basis of our work.
